LOWONGAN KERJA [LOKER] - The U.S. Embassy Jakarta is seeking an individual for the position of Maintenance (HVAC), (FSN-83/2010) in the Facility Maintenance Unit (FMU). The incumbent performs full journeyman level in refrigeration and air conditioning trade. S/He performs duties involved in installation, renovation, modification, preventive maintenance & repair, rebuilding of machines, equipment, components and control devices associated with refrigeration and air conditioning systems; including cooling, heating, ventilation and air conditioning system for various government held properties. S/He also performs maintenance/repair, rebuild, installation of other housing appliances such as washer, dryer, oven, stove, water heater, etc.

Qualifications required:

1. 
   
   At least High School Diploma is requird.
   
   


2. 
   
   At least two (2) years direct experience in maintenance, repair and construction of HVAC type of work is required.
   
   


3. 
   
   Level II (Limited Knowledge) in speaking/reading/writing in English and level III (Good Working Knowledge) in Bahasa Indonesia are required.
   
   


4. 
   
   Must have knowledge in some local resources of materials and products, local cultures, customs and attitudes in each different region, as well as understanding of the aspects of different jobs and ability to learn how to fulfill and complete various job requirements in accordance.
   
   


5. 
   
   Must possess advanced knowledge in carpentry and must be enthusiastic to learn new technology. Must have skill in using HVAC power tools and utilize modern HVAC equipment (refrigerant recycling machine, air flow meter, voltage/ampere meter welding machine, oxy-acetylene, etc)
   
   


6. 
   
   Must have skill in manual and mechanical lifting, and be familiar with various safety equipments. Must be able to operate basic truck, forklift, utility vehicle and common verhicle and possess driver's license (SIM A).
